THE GOOD PUB GUIDE
"Cheerfully run dining pub with pleasant places to sit both inside and outside run by friendly and enthusiastic staff, this pub focuses mostly on food. In fine weather, the garden and terrace are enjoyable places to sit, with a pleasant backdrop of rolling country. The interconnecting rooms give fine views too and in winter, you'll find an open fire: piped music. There are proper tablecloths, linen napkins and fresh flowers on the tables in the restaurant, which has a more expensive menu. They've a good range of wines to choose from, with about ten by the glass, lots of malt whiskies, quite a few brandies and liqueurs, and St. Georges Best and Shepherd Neame Spitfire are on handpump. Good disabled access and facilities."
